They suit loads that need high power over a short period, such as industrial UPS, utilities/switchgear, industry and oil & gas. Special low-antimony plates keep maintenance low: under normal float, topping up is needed every three years. Low self-discharge, lower operating costs, fully recyclable. SD = shorter 423 mm cells; SDH = taller high-capacity cells.

GRoE flooded cell

The longest-life lead-acid battery, designed to operate 25 years without loss of performance. It is a vented GroE range meeting DIN 40738, with a Planté positive pure-lead plate in a laminate design. It delivers deep-discharge and high-rate performance. The pure-lead positive plate gives very low water consumption: a single topping up every 3 years in float. Low self-discharge in storage, fully recyclable. Optional nut & bolt terminals for UK National Grid.

General purpose AGM battery
